Sorry, that offends you but... I would rather eat my culls. Where I come from chickens are chickens in this part of the country not pets. Having someone have a good dinner of chicken and dumplings is more important to me than dressing one up in a diaper and calling it a pet.

thanks, ours should start soon, we got the cuckoo eggs in the bator now and they will all be carrying the lav gen..they are basically 100% orp already..
mottled and lemon cuckoos are laying already but they are penned together at the moment, soon will move them to the breeder coops, eggs size...
Our 6 th gen will start to lay soon, they are split black this 6th gen so they will produce some 7th gen lavender orps,
also will be breeding a 6th gen pure lav roo from one of our different lines to some of the 6th gen split blacks hens... cant wait for some more Lil lav orp chicks in the...
Awww we Love the new beginnings, also the end and final chapter on these fifth gen cocks and hens and on to the new crossing of the line to select black hens again to a single selected very special Lavender Roo..and the show goes on.. it never gets old.... the 5th gens have all been re homed...
Boy I can't wait till some of this snow is gone, want to let the lav,s free range & others as well.
We have about 10" still down and no sign of it leaving. Guess most of the east coast has snow.
Cant wait till greener pastures to come.
Its really awesome to see all the lavender love being spread around.. ebay has gone crazy with lavender orp eggs to.. spread the love peeps.. its only gonna get better, with all the breeders with these out there the lavender orpington craze has just really begun..
