@N F C we live in West central NJ close to the Delaware River. The past several years the storm patterns have either been North or South of us with Trenton sort of being the dividing line. IF this storm produces any snow, it will be North of us.

Agree on the taping but texturing? You mean all the rough pebbly stuff? I hate that stuff, fortunately it was easy to scrape off the ceilings in my first house.especially the taping & texturing portion
Purple? I thought Red was the worst! We moved out of the purple zone to red zone earlier in the month but I expect we will be back to purple soon.
Snow + shovel = aerobic exercise.I can't take him to the shelter in town, my car is snowed in inside the garage.
We've gotten birds and bats in the woodstove in the summer. I guess there isn't a screen of any sort on top of the metal chimney. We've recently twice had birds in the basement. The only thing I can think of is they come down the brick chimney and out the barometric damper. Last week there was a horrendous screaming in the house and a bird came flying into the living room with the 3 cats hot on its tail. It hit the window, then the ground then wedged between the wall and TV stand where I was able to pick it up and put it out on the deck. I have absolutely no idea how it got in the house, we don't leave the basement door open and there certainly weren't any windows open.those birds are a pain in the neck, they always want to nest in our flue pipes, when i hear a strange noise on my front porch, i know one has come thru the pipe into the wood burner, have to open the porch door, open the stove door, let her out and she knows to fly out, but i have to agree, they are pretty with their spots
Our cats eat spiders! My oldest was about 18 months & had something in his mouth, my husband asked him to stick out his tongue...it was half of a spider...![]()
It sounds like a nerve is injured in the finger.never been stung by a wasp, just a couple of honey bees thru the years and once i stepped on a yellow jacket when barefooted(normal for me) but my thumb hurts like something out of joint does, maybe that why i thought arthritis but after cracking it on the countertop yesterday beginning to think i was wrong, its not hurting as bad but i have noticed the second jt. keeps popping out, smarts to pop it back also![]()
The purple zone is the worst one here for covid conditions. It is the similar to air quality. The darker the purple the worse things are.Purple? I thought Red was the worst!

I hear it is good for a person.

The cats always know when there is an outdoor animal somewhere in the house.
