I posted several days ago regarding my 6 week old chicks. The temp got up to 89*, and they were stumbling and weak. I mixed up some electroylyte solution. Within 1/2 hour, they were noticeably better. I posted the recipe, but left out one important ingredient. So: here's a correction:
1/2 C hot H2O
2 1/2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp (scant) salt
1/2 tsp (scant) baking soda
1 tsp flavored Jello Mix all ingredients well. Then add:
3 1/2 C cold H2O
I posted correction on the thread, but... just in case someone reads my original post, and misses the correction, I'm hoping this will prevent any mistakes!!!
