I’m so sorry for your loss. Macaroni was beautiful and she was lucky to have you. Don’t beat yourself up, it is really hard to say what afflicts them sometimes and we just do the best we can. They hide things so well. I hope in time you can find comfort in the pictures and memories you have of her. And I don’t think you did anything to hurt her, don’t worry

The critical care didn’t have time to even help her. I hate myself for not getting it to her sooner, maybe it would have helped or maybe it would have made it worse if she had sour crop? or maybe the electrolyte solution I gave her hurt her and made her pass away? I hope I didn’t hurt her in any way.

I'm sorry to hear about Macaroni, she was a lovely girl.

No dear, you didn't do anything to hurt her or cause her to pass.
Hens can have something going on, but they are good at hiding the symptoms.

I know it's sad to lose her but do take comfort that you were able to hold her on your lap and pet her. She knew you were there and caring for her.
