I think I got a handle on recognizing read vs unread, but if I'm being dense, please let me know, lol. The picture below shows that all but one thread were read, and the one thread had 4 unread posts, right?@casportpony

Yeah I think that's it. I just looked at mine and they are all grey. I am only subscribed to 1 thread.

You're so smart! That's it, I just unsubscribed from a thread and it's darker gray now, but that doesn't explain how I got unsubscribe from that one thread.
Anyway, if I see more of those I will check my subscription status.
