I am a new member and this is my first time having geese I have a 12-month-old roman goose and i need to know how to know if they are fertile and I need to know what to do
and how long a male sperm can stay inside a female goose.

Do you just have the one goose or is there a gander as well? If there is a gander, have you observed mating? Determining fertility can be done one of two ways -- incubation with candling to check for development/waiting for hatching or cracking an egg (sacrificing it) to examine the germinal disc on the yolk to see if it was fertilized or not. The former avoids sacrificing a potential gosling, but takes more time and effort because you have to incubate it.
 
I only have one female I had to get rid of the others cause there were Africans and Chinese geese and to aggressive to the children
 
I only have one I've had other in the past had to get rid of them but they have mated with my goose and she just got done laying one egg
 
in July and June cause I lost of gander a roman goose to a dog and my mom got me some more


and what are the chances of a wild goose mating with her
