WHEN HUBBY TRYS EXTRA HARD TO MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE
I told my husband I wanted some chickens for eggs. I'm thinking a few hens a rooster or two so I can raise them to feed my snakes free food ( PLEASE no nasty comments on feeding my snakes, they have to eat too!)and we would have some fryers and delicious farm fresh eggs. He texted me Friday to tell me he bought 20 laying hens so we spend all weekend working on getting the old coop ready for their arrival today ( a lot of work I might add) and gathering all the stuff to take care of all these birds and eggs (for those who haven't figured it out yet that's a LOT OF ... EGGS) and I been giving him crap about it all weekend. Well guess he didn't get the hint that that's a LOT OF ... EGGS and thought we needed more, so I get a text today saying he got 10 more. We are now up to 30 hens. That's right folk I'm going to be eyeball deep in eggs and going to have to buy a whole nother fridge just to keep eggs in. He said he wanted to make my dream of having chicken come true, I told him thanks and I love his enthusiasm, but I think it just turned into a nightmare lol.
I truly do love him and am proud of him and the things he does to make me happy, even if it's a bit overboard the point is he did it for me out of love. Just thought this was funny and anyone that knows us would probably find it funny too. Oh wait did I mention that he carted them home in the back of my Tahoe!!!! < Not the first time he has done this either so I shouldn't be surprised, just so you know you can fit a whole deer, or a full grown wild hog ( blood splatter does not come out of a tan headliner btw) in the back of that thing and still fit two hunters and all their gear comfortably in the front. I'm thinking of writing to Chevy with a new add idea!!!
