I took it from about 7 feet below her/him. Gender: Could not see and I was not going to get that personal with the critter. It's head and shoulders made me think male...very wide. It did not like the flash at all.

They really are not bad neighbors once you get accustomed to seeing them and hearing them, provided they are not injured and trapped in a garage with you....then it gets a little hairy.
