I have sick chickens (respiratory) but my roo is sicker than the rest and I am going to give him tylan-50 injection and keep the others on the Duramycin-10 water. It seems to be helping them, but not the rooster. I'm afraid if I don't act quick, I may lose him. Is it ok for him to continue drinking the Duramycin water even though I'm giving him the Tylan-50 injections also? And just to double check, the dosage for Tylan-50 for a D'uccle is 1/4 to 1/2 cc under the skin of the neck?

Dual antibiotics aren't great however if he is that sick I'd say it's ok, especially since you don't know the cause.

Here's the tricky part. If the Duramycin appears to be helping the others than it may be an infection that Tylan won't help. I'm going to make a guess and say your chickens are recovering on their own making it appear the Duramycin is working. This is the nature of many respiratory infections.

Once again I agree with giving him Tylan. Can you not isolate him into a dog crate and bring him into a warm controlled environment? This way the double dosage won't be an issue and he'll be better off that way anyways.

Can't help on the dose. My bottle of Tylan is still sealed thankfully.
