I just noticed it today it seems to be eating and drinking okay. I trimmed the beak a little, but don't know what else to do. I don't want to butcher it yet, just wondering if there is something else I can do for it. It also doesn't seem to be in pain.

IMHO I wouldn't want to eat anything that has a tumor growing on it's body. No telling what is in the blood system.

I don't think it is anything he ate his whole head is weird. His eyes, ears, and nostrils are bigger than all the other chicks.

Hi Bessie1994Snyder,

I don't think it looks like a tumour, but part of a general facial malformation. The thing under his chin looks like it should have been his earlobe. His beak is also severely malformed, whether it's parrot bill or twisted (it's hard to see). Such an odd little guy, poor thing!

I hope you don't mind my being frank, but I think you'll be hard pressed getting this little one to eating size/age. Misaligned or parrot beaks tend to make eating difficult, and he may have internal deformities as well. But he looks bright and happy in the picture, so good luck!
