Oregon

Hi there, I'm Sky! I'm high school student in Portland, OR and I am looking to interview people with chickens for a literary journal school assignment. Would you be willing to do a 10 minute interview with me? Maybe sometime in the next two weeks so that I can talk with you about your experience of having chickens?
If you would be willing email me here!

If you wouldn't want to be interviewed do you know of anyone who would be?
Hi, Sky, I would be happy to be interviewed to assist with your project. Sorry for the late reply, its tax season still at my office. I sent you an email as well.
look forward to talking to you.

Hello! Wanted to introduce myself and our farm. We are in Grants Pass, OR (southern Oregon) and have had our flock over a year now. I have a lot of animal experience, but am new to taking care of chickens. It's been fun (and sometimes hard) learning their personalities and how to care for them to maintain their physical and mental health. I would love to connect with some local peeps to nerd out about poultry.

I am searching for silkie chicks. I’m in the Willamette Valley but I’m willing to travel. I’ve had the hardest time finding any this year.

We are looking to rehome our rooster (temporarily) for about a year. We just moved into the city and just found out our 17 week old Starlight Green Egger pullet ended up being a cockerel. He's super sweet and cuddly, but he just started crowing, and we need to rehome him immediately. Looking for someone who just needs an extra rooster in a backyard flock. No killing or inhumane environments. Ideally, we'd like to be able to check in on him now and then.
If you're interested or open to that, please contact me at [email protected].
