Any way to convince a 4 day old chick to eat? added a pic

I'm so sorry your going through this.
I know your attached to this little one but sometimes force feeding a neurologically and physically damaged chick isn't in the chicks best interest.
Prolonging its suffering isnt kindness its cruel.
I'm sorry but sometimes you have to let go.
I really hate to have to be blunt but I have to wonder if you even read the article I gave you on your chicks problem.

That was a nice post until the part that you doubted my reading the article. That was slightly rude, my friend and kind of out of line to make a judgement call on me from my postings on a chicken board. I absolutely read the article and after spending the time with the animal that I have- I didn't agree with it. I'm open to everyone's opinions about what to do regarding this chick, but when it comes to me and whether or not I take the suggestions, I ask that you keep your judgements to yourself.

My Dad peeled out a chick and it took the better part of a week for it to learn how to peck and eat but it did it. It grew up to be a healthy adult with no signs of any problems whatsoever. That week was hard.

That chick, as much as it looks weak, is so cute and you're awesome for working so hard. You know, if you can keep it going for a couple more days, I bet you could get grow-gel from mcmurray. It's bright green so he would probably peck it just out of curiosity, which is what it's meant for. and because it's a gel he'll have an easy time swallowing it. Just a suggestion

Hope something works!
