Ivomec dosage please?

Rather than buy a $45 bottle of valbazen (my preferred wormer) and having 99% of it go to waste, I obtained some ivomec from a neighbor that's a cattle rancher.

I can't remember the dosage for the ivomec. Anyone know?
 
I think you're asking about Ivomec Eprinex pour-on - correct? The dose is 1/2cc for standard chickens, 1/4cc for smaller chickens, directly on the skin on the back of the neck.

Hi! I know that Ivomec Epronix pour-on can be applied on the back of a chickens neck, does this treat the internal parasites (worms) when applied this way or is only to treat mites for chickens? Sorry I am new and a little confused as far as wormers being applied orally versus on the back of the neck, etc. Also does this wormer work as well as Valbazen?

It works for internal parasites just like it does internal parasites in cows after being "poured on". However, IMO it doesn't work as well as the valbazen, because it doesn't get every worm that valbazen can treat; including gapeworm and liver flukes.

x2. Ivermectin pour on doesnt work well against cecal worms, and large roundworms in chickens have been showing resistance against it as well....probably from overuse as a miteacide. Ivermectin injectable is already useless in chickens, here's a link:
