Retirement has it's down sides... "old-timers" and "I thought it was..."
With the intent to create my own flock of "jelly bean cotton puff" bantam Cochins, I boo-boo'd! I mistakenly thought that the BYC projects of buff columbians was another breed being crossed to cochins, so.... with this in mind, I sought out and bought a dozen D'uccles. I have MF & porcelain pattern. OOoooooooooops!

After talking to TwinLights, I realize the err of my ways! MF D'uccle and cochins do not make MF Cochins. Are there owners of MFCochins that I might purchase hatching eggs from? What do I do now?

The MF are indeed very sweet and the roo are not quarrelsome, at this point, but I want big fluffy cotton balls of color to hatch their own and call duck eggs for me.

Now I realize what I must do! I will open another building for the D'Uccle flock. They will have their own chain link fence, thick grassy area and pen topped with net to keep predators out. I WILL have my Jelly Bean Cochins and Many Flower D'Uccle! What's another huge area when it's filled with.
