Treats that are NOT treats

If I've read correctly, you should NOT give chicks/chickens:
potatoes
avocados
kingworms w heads
egg shells until they are laying
chocolate (why would you??)
flavored yogurt

Am I missing anything else on this list?
 
Uncooked beans of any sort. Eggplant. And too much of any one thing can be toxic, like peas, or clover, alfalfa, which are fine in small quantities are bad if fed too much at once. Raw soybean (edime) is bad as it must be heat treated.

Cant think of more right now...
 
wait, i thought yogurt was good for chickens, whats wrong with it?

when i first got my chicks my little one who i later found out must of been a day old at best was not doing so good sleep alot not active like the rest but still holding her own one night i had her sleep on my chest for like 3 hours then decded to give treats (my rat was on antibotics so she was getting yougart everytime she got dose of meds) so i gave the chicks soem strawberry yogart also and my little bit percked right up and they get there yougart every night flavored with some kind of fruit and she has not had pasty butt and be going good i just made sure they have grite to help with the snack i also give them a peice of bread in the am 7 grain whole wheat. they love it and then some meal worms as mid afternoon snack or when my niecs want to play with the chicks and thats always good for a laugh
