I know it is a sign of aggression - but I don't know how to stop it.
Every morning I leave on my motorcycle I have to defend myself and go faster then I would like on my dirt driveway because they chase me!

Seriously these boys have it out for my bike. Good thing I am armored when they try it so they can't actually hurt me.

Is there anything I can do to deter them besides penning them up? I have tried pushing them back gently by the chest or just walking towards them moving them back - the second I turn around BAM there they are again.

I'm sorry that I don't have anything helpful to say, but 40 years ago when I was a young girl, we had a beautiful adult white turkey. He would hide, who knows where, and whenever I would leave the house to go to the barn, this huge tom turkey would run flat out, trying to flog me with his feathers/wings. I would be running just as flat out. I can still hear my father roar with laughter every time. This went on for most of one summer until it happened to Dad. It was no longer funny and we had the best Sunday dinner ever. Thanks for bringing this story to mind.

Hate to tell you this, and it's probably what A. T. Hagan is getting at... blue can set a male turkey off. I had a Narrigansett tom that was a nice as could be, until I carried a blue water jug in one day. Then he just got mean. I remembered one old post with some sugestions and found it https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/563463/help-hes-charging-me Otherwise a search on aggressive turkey might get you a few more ideas to try.

Or red. Toms colorations are usually blue or red or some mix of the two. Especially if the object is somewhat turkey sized anything those colors can sometimes set them off. With some birds anyway.

Exactly. The blue jug set off my Narri, my White Hollands and Regal Red that I have now don't seem to notice. Maybe go for short rides when you aren't going anywhere and carry a super soaker?
