I have two hens, Largo and Montego. (Pekins)
Well, Largo was an overachiever yesterday.
In the middle is a normal size duck egg.
To the left is the one Largo laid yesterday and I am thinking its a double yoker!
To the right is the little one Montego laid.
Bless her heart.
It's probably yokeless.
Maybe I could market her as a low cholesterol duck!

No eggs this morning. Not sure if it's because the weather has turned cooler or not.
Or maybe after yesterday's BIG and little egg, they just didn't lay today.
Now for my question, the drakes are pretty "fond" of Montego, if ya know what I mean.
Lately she's been separating herself from the flock.
Swimming off by herself or laying somewhere away from the group.
Reckon it's just cause the she's tired of the boys?
Largo has REALLY BIG personality, so the boys don't mess with her as much, but Montego is much more meaker and the boys take full advantage!
She's eating good and I've checked her over and she's got no injuries other than some feather loss off the back of her neck, but it's really not that bad. I've seen worse.
I'm thinking she's just tired and worn out and would like some peace! What say y'all??
