Hello, I am selling some hatching eggs from different breeds. They will be from White crested black polish , white crested blue polish, solid black polish ,light brahmas ,dark brahmas, gold laced polish. I have them all separate but im selling them what ever dozen I pull for the day will make up the dozen I send. Sometimes all will lay just fine and sometimes maybe only one w/c black might and the other wont. so they will be a surprise when they hatch..lol..literally..lol.. I ship usps priority mail. shipping runs 15.00 with delivery confirmation. if you get more than 1 dozen I will give a better price and price cut on the shipping. eggs are bubble wrapped individually. I cannot guarentee once it leaves my hand the hatchability with them. I have great hatchability in my incubators if interested pm me with any questions. I will post pics of my babies im hatching and pics of my birds. ty.

Love them! I just Pm'd you! Thanks!

My daughter is making a homemade bator this weekend with her daddy.... she says she doesnt like mine! She read how to make a bigger better one. So I bought the parts fo her... I am going to let her do a website too, on its making, incubation, and the life of the chickens..... she will be 8 and already has read so many books and read online... she says its a documentary!!! This morning she said she is working on a drawing of chicken body parts and then an egg! lol so much for Barbies!!

Good luck - beautiful chickens!

Harmony says she Loooooooves the gold laced polish the best..... so exciting! Thank you soooo much!!

We have recieved 2 doz eggs (ordered Sat!) and all look in good shape, will post later after Harmony does her first candle to let you know how the air cells look!

when I candle I just look at the progress and the veining of the egg ,which will show progress. I dont look much at the air cells persay and It seem as long as I keep my humidity within a certain range in begining til lockdown, I usually stay no more than 50% the first 18 days them increase to 70 for lockdown, just cant go lower than 30 humidity. I usually go dry incubation but have a sponge or ? just under a hole in my old lil giant incubator so usually after first week going dry incubation it tends to go down under 40 so then all I do is add the water thru the air hole in top of incubator to bring humidity back up some. Im using the cabinet incubator now plus the lil giants and have hatched out 100's of polish and brahmas and cochins ,silkies etc by now. and each egg seems different in how it developes in reguards to air cells. what do you mean by rolling air cells? im not getting a clear pic.. im thinking of rolling as rolling egg over to sides and such..lol..sorry early am with the chickens..lol.. did you see veining in the eggs? the brahmas tend to be a lil harder but with a high light bulb like we use ,you can see progress in the eggs. I just candled 120 eggs in our big incubator full of brahmas, tolbunt polish and silkies, everyone at day 14 candle is great, and out of the bunch I hadnt had one to pull out from begining, so far looks to be 100% hatch, just the tail end of lockdown is when you got to watch , hopefully all goes well with mine scheduled to hatch on halloween, ill post some pics for you to show her of the lil babies coming :)

***well duh after I hit my send button it dawned on me the rolling air cells....I would just watch and see development on them as rolling occurs during shipping alot but I bubble wrapped them each egg but you really never know what they do with them. once I pull eggs I put them into a cooler area and into a auto turner til they ship so they arent just sitting in a carton etc. have faith on the babies that have that . I candle all eggs before they leave and with just me pulling the eggs and putting them into turner, they couldnt have been shaken up before they got shipped to displace,

Rolling air cells is a shipping thing, sometimes they get shook on purpose and other times just thrown around rough handling... smaller the egg the weaker cells and the air cell breaks and the bubble/bubbles roll from top to bottom in the egg, you can see when u candle.... a scrambled egg from shipping is when even the yolk is ruptured : ( Last batch of silkies with bad air cells didnt reattach (I was told it is possible) and we only had 1 make it due to air cells, the rest were from Mypetchicken, 6 red silkies were ALL INFERTlLE... ugggg was upset with them! but whatever, I pray she gets at least one to hatch. I was gonna order more, but I cant keep spending that cash its alot for 1~2 chickens unfortunately. Byt

Here are the eggs and the bator! We had HARMONY weigh and candle all the eggs, so we are doing the weigh for air cells this time around!!

Hot water thermostat mounted at the left light bulb and the fan is on the right shooting accross both bulbs...
Suggest the Wafer thermostat that regulats AMBIANT heat as apposed to this one that does RADIANT! But we finally have it acurate in placement basically against the light bulb!

The white on the plexiglass is the sealant that didnt dry all the way yet, it should dry clear eventually.. the ball jars have water in them to help keep the bator more solid mass and hold temps and heat better while turning.
