ordering from Murray McMurray. What are your experiences?

Maybe the DOA and the chicks dying later is due to the time of year you are ordering and all the cold weather. Most people who posted that they had great experiences maybe ordered in the later months. Most people order in spring like weather so it is not as cold. Out of all the replys most had great experiences.
 
I have some RIR hensm MMM and they are nice but lay lighter brown eggs. My other RIR from Welps lay the mormal dark RIR egg colors.


I ordered 25 Silkies from MMM, but 10 died, several on arrival and the rest a few days later. They refunded my money with no issue.

I wold order from them again. But not the RIR as I like the traditional brown eggs

Went to the post office this morning to pick up the chicks that shipped Saturday. Out of the 28 chicks ordered and 30 in box only one DOA but the extra chick was a pullet and a breed that was the most expensive. The rest are running around like jumping beans in the food and water. Very lively group considering the travel time and the weather.
