Hello, My name is Paul and I'm new to BYC.
I have been working on developing a line of Blue Laced Red Ameraucana (as pictured in my avatar) and wondering if anyone on here is doing the same or has interest in joining me? I am currently looking for BLR/Ameraucana hatching eggs or chicks, in addition I am looking for BLR Wyandotte & Blue or Blue Wheaten Ameraucana hatching eggs or chicks.

Thank you for your consideration, I hope to hear back.

Hopefully some of the Ameraucana people will chime in soon with an answer for ya. In the meantime, just wanted to say, those are some beautiful birds you have there!

Lovely chickens! We have 2 Easter Eggers that look similar to yours. They are about 7 months old. One is quite similar to the one in your avatar photo, lots of red lacing with some grey. The other one I think is especially gorgeous, mostly grey, with some red lacing. They both have beards and ear tufts and lay slightly olive green eggs.

Hi There,
Your birds sound beautiful! I have no idea how your message slipped by me but it did, probably due to my recent move, etc.
I just fired up my incubator on Thursday April 11, 2013 loaded with a variety of stunning bantams for a project(s) I'm working on. Included are 3 standard blue eggs from Ameraucana hens X Blue Laced Red Wy/Blue Wheaten Ameraucana roo.

Do you sell hatching eggs?
I'm very interested in chatting with you more about the BLR Amer project I've been calling "NorthEastern Ameraucanas"

Hi Paul. Chickens are such a beautiful Medium to work with in . You sound like you enjoy the ART of Breeding Chickens.. I like your ideals and the coloures you are dealing with but the task is so daunting. Would love to hear more of your work. and see more pictures of your birds.

Paul,

I stumbled across your post and just stopped when I saw your avatar and desire to create a Blue Laced Red Ameraucana. I've had chickens off and on for years, but have moved and am starting a new flock. My desire, this time is to have a flock with more of a purpose than just pretty eggs. I've not been sure which breed to go with as so many have their beautiful qualities, but I've always been partial to the blue eggs. Your avatar pic is obviously of a bantam? but what a lovely new Ameraucana this would make!! I'm hooked! How is your project going?

Is this one or is this an EE? Her legs are green not slate or blue so I'm thinking EE.

I picked her up recently. She's about 2 1/2 months old I think.
