Hi folks; long time lurker, first time poster.
Our Buff ("mini me") has been lethargic, has a large squishy crop, and makes a weird clicking noise with her beak as if she's trying to clear her throat. We're suspecting Sour Crop and have been utilizing remedies found on this forum. These include whole milk yogurt with live culture; ACV in her water; and massaging her crop after putting an olive oil/water mixture down her throat.
Immediately following her massage, she pooped (or exploded) the LARGEST bright green, white, and watery mess I'd ever seen come out of a chicken. Thank goodness it missed my shoes... LOL.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Are we taking the necessary steps to get her better? Thanks in advance; we're worried about our "mini me."
