I'll try and make this short lol.
Some new little peeps just pipped and zipped, and so far not many problems. The only thing i'm worried about is one chick has splay/spraddle leg (which ever you want to call it). It's not very bad, and he can just about walk kind of crouched down, but it mostly shows when he goes to sleep. His legs are not 45 degrees out to the sides, he sits normally, just with his belly on the ground and his thighs up by his wings.
I was going to bind the legs with a Band-Aid, but I saw him walking (well, shuffling) around and was not sure. My dad also didn't believe that binding a chicks legs would be good for it, and when I said otherwise, got rather mad. I thought he knew a fair bit about chooks (not as much as me though evidently
) so I wondered if the year and a half of research I had done had all gone down the drain...
Anyhow, could splay leg possibly rectify itself? or should I bind as soon as possible?
Thanks y'all!

He's doing a lot better, but I think I'll leave it on for another day just to make sure. I am SOOOO glad I did it right....
