Would love to see pics of your buffs again A.We had three or four go broody last year. I let them sit on duds. I feel that one of these days I may want to hatch a few. And now that we have a drake…..handsome, fairly mellow boy.
It takes time but they eventually figure it out.i have a broody mallard but i wont let her sit on eggs right now and her egg are not fertile cause the male has not found out that his thing is made for mating not just for him to mount her and get off but i will let her sit at the end of nexted month
