The download ruined my computer.... ???

We've reported these to Google and hopefully they will be removed. If you continue to see them please get the mouseover URL and a screenshot of the ad. (The click URL / mouseover is most important since it helps us identify where it is coming from)

Found another.
It is important to note that, if one hasn't gotten proactive with defense while browsing, advertisers & their analytics quants will follow one from site to site. What I am `served' will probably not be what others are (personalized/contextualized ads by predictive algorithm, alone -if you're lucky  - who needs the NSA when ya got Facebook...) Use the CC/or JetCleaner (or just set browser to not store anything between sessions - see something funky - kill & restart browser). If ads are that worrisome, a GFM is cheap. Easiest is just don't click on the "YOUR COMPUTER IS INFECTED! CLICK HERE!" ads (and the like), and set irksome plug-ins to `click-to-play.

O.K., refer back to my first post on `toolbar' additions by BS. (An example from a couple of hours ago, with URL's, via granddaughter's assistance, i.e., `refresh BYC until you see `stuff'): The `warning': The URL: "Safecleanerify"???? And, where does that `click' take one??? That's right, some difficult to remove toolbar doing who knows what - being served from who knows where (pretty much). This kind of thing is ubiquitous over web - programs like Adblockplus won't save one (for much longer) owing to Adblockplus pretty much `whitelisting' advertisers (`pay us and don't take too much advantage and you can slip through'). Don't open any email attachments and, if one's first reaction on seeing a screen message is FUD, just don't click. Sigh, it could be worse, anyone remember Bonzi Buddy? BYC getting fed the occasional Google adster? Walk in the park. P.S. "view messages!" "Message Viewer" URL's (and URL to the toolbar):
