Chick Hock Infection - Chick is on the mend!!

I have a silly question, the med. I got her says to desolve in 8 ounces of water , do I keep filling her bowl with only the medicated water or give her plain water in between , she is looking better but is smaller than the other birds, she eats good though ,I took her shoe off today after 3 days of wearing it and the toes are stretched out now like they are supposed to be, but her foot is slightly twisted, the hock is looking better swelling going down some and she let me touch it today, without flinching or yelling ,the yellow mess is breaking up I saw tiny bits of it in her Epsom salts soak today, after I get that healed maybe I can tell if it is a slipped tendon , would that make her bottom half of her leg twist slightly she is putting a tiny bit of weight on it now but walks on the outside of her foot.

Turned out Hoppy's leg was out of joint and wouldn't stay in place when bandaged together she couldn't get around , I had to take her to the vet and have her put to sleep

I am sorry that you lost her. Leg bone deformities are almost impossible to fix, but you really tried. Sorry that I didn't see your last few posts until today.
