Hi!
I know this one is young, but maybe some of you experts will be able to pick up on if this is a roo or hen. The woman I got her from said hen, but she's huge and has enormous legs and feet. She is the skittish of the group, but always the first to throw out a warning sound when she feels necessary. Her feathers are coming in on her head at the same time as her sisters of the same age. She's around 5ish weeks old. She's the lavender Olive Egger. She appears to have a single comb coming in. Thanks for taking a guess. :)

I'll get one tomorrow. It's pinker than any of the other chicks. Theirs is more of a peach/skin color where hers is a definite pink.
Her huge legs and feet are what have me wondering.
Ty for looking and commenting! :)

Well, "she" started clucking and I think she may be building up to start crowing. She's around 6 or 7 weeks old now. Her comb is getting a bit bigger and still bright pink. Her feet are still massive. She just has all of the body language and actions of a Roo.

I agree. Her stances and behaviors scream Roo to me. Thankfully, my friend just bought a 5 acre farm and wants a rooster. She has 8 ladies now. I can't have Roos where I live and did not want to have to out her in the freezer. Well, I wouldn't have, but I wouldn't have trusted someone else taking her and culling her. So sad. She's such a pretty thing, but she is the least trusting of me, skittish and next to impossible to hold. So different than my other 4. I'm pretty confident my others are all hens.
