Should I have broken up my rooster and drake fight?

Hi my rooster and drake are fighting for the second time now! The rooster is the one causing all the trouble the drake has won the fight both times by using his weight on top of the rooster and pulling his feathers out! I filmed him doing so instead of breaking it up because I figured if they sorted it out themselves it's less likely that they will fight! I doubt the rooster will dare attack the drake now! Was I doing the right thing by just watching? How do you post videos? Because I want to show you what happened!

Sorry, I don't know squat about ducks. But I suspect that regardless of being different species, they're both doing their male thing. Two roosters could get along just fine (we have 3 getting along so far), but it could also be a bloodbath. If they are really hurting each other, ie, you see blood or real damage, separate them immediately. If it's just your drake is defending himself against your rooster's instigation, it's your call to separate them or not. Perhaps they will work it out. If it continues or gets worse, it would probably be wise to split them up and/or find a new home for one of them.

Personally,I would have.

My fright of the drake being spurred though.
My drake,about maybe 3 2 years,got in a fight with my rooster.

I never stopped it.The ducks and chickens (regardless of being different species),have a pecking order.
My old drake, won his medal.Making my rooster punk out.

How olds your drake?
