Please Read First
A) By participating in this game, I promise that all BYC Rules will be followed and that I have read and understood the Role Play Rules that are in a sticky at the top of the Games forum.
B) I promise that all content is to be rated G and suitable for all ages.
C) I promise that there will be no swearing, cursing (including censoring by using symbols) or inappropriate adult sexual activity or innuendo. This extends to mating, breeding or innuendo in non-human characters as well.
D) I promise to treat others with respect and kindness as is the BYC way.
E) I promise not to post any material that is a violation of copyright. Basically this means: if you didn't create the content (like an image / picture) and don't have direct permission from the content creator to post it, then don't.
Rules:
·Only the alpha/alpha's make the rules and all the dogs must follow
·If any rules alpha rules are broken or if a loner trespasses in territory the alpha can choose punishment wether it be ban from the pack or severely beaten
·A loner can join a pack by pming the alpha(owner of the alpha. Who is the owner of the pack also) and having the character summon an alpha of that territory to the territory borders by howling
·Jackals(of any kind) and foxes all live alone and don't make or join packs, they are solitary creatures, they simply have a family and split up in fall
·This is Africa there isn't any snow but nights can get to the negative temperatures in winter while day can get to 50°F at the lowest
·Be realistic(canines don't have fingers!No superpowers/superheroes)
·Every real day is a day on the rp, no timeskipping
·Canines aren't cheetahs they can't run super fast
·No 'perfect' characters
For many years the wild canines of Africa & Australia have been killed for raiding human's villages. Prey animal numbers have decreased over the past few years,starving not only the predators but the humans as well. The humans have gone extinct, or that's what all the animals think. To find one would be extremely rare, the animals are on the edge of extinction. Prey is still hard to find and many innocent canines are starving to death. An old wise dog had said the prey have migrated and would return once the spring comes, but still nothing and the wise dog had lost his life to starvation. Will you make it through the starvation time?

·Dingo
·Hyena(Striped Hyena,Spotted Hyena,Brown Hyena)
·Fennec Fox
·Bat-eared Fox
Some dogs live within packs, some live alone, decreasing their chances of survival. Which will you pick? To live alone or with your family and friends?
Packs:
Northern Pack/Chorizo Pack:
The Northern Pack obviously got it's name from their territory being in the North, but that's what the humans called the Pack. The dogs called this Pack,The Chorizo Pack. This pack has plenty of water spaces(Lakes,ponds,rivers,streams,creeks) where the prey animals had always stopped for a drink on a hot day,but since the starvation time only a few prey animals had come instead of herds of thousands. The grass is tall here, giving plenty of cover to the dogs. This Pack is an African Wild Dog pack
Southern Pack/Tracy Pack:
It is the same with this Pack, it had received it's name from its direction. The dogs name of this Pack is, The Tracy Pack. No one knows why it's called this, perhaps the first alpha's name was Tracy, but no one knows for sure. In this territory there are few water spaces and it is more bare than it is grassy plains. Here there are many hills, where lions and few prey animals wander. This is a strictly Dingo pack. This pack is usually near abandoned human camps rummaging through whatever food is left of the camp.
Tamaru Pack:
This pack is strictly hyenas. This pack wasn't named after the humans, for it was created shortly after the humans had gone extinct. In the middle of the territory there is a hill where the hyenas sleep and raise pups. Nearby is a small water space, a river. The pack usually has to head off farther into their territory away from their den(the hill) to find prey, unless they get lucky and the prey comes to them.

Ranks within the packs:
Alpha: There is a pair of alpha's, they are of opposite genders and are mates. This applies for Dingo's and African Wild dogs. The hyena there is only one alpha and the alpha is a female.

Beta: Is one rank lower then the alpha/alpha's, if one or both of the alpha pair die or get separated from the pack, the beta automatically takes their place. If one of the alpha's is still there and his/her mate does not return or does not find a new mate as soon as possible, the beta automatically takes the pair's place, even if only one of the pair is go
