In the Brooder
My good friend is building this amazing chicken coop I designed for free. I thank you very much for this. My chicken coop now is terrible. The food and water get dirty too quickly from the way it was built. It is far too hard to clean and is causing my chickens to become ill. I clean it everyday but it is dirty again. I waste a lot of water trying to clean it. The run is always muddy it seems. But the new coop I have designed will fix all my problems and make it less stressful for me and my chickens. My chickens and I are very excited. I have built it in a animation software/game. Here's the pictures.
Ok, this is the side of it. The spaces on the roof will all be filled with hardware cloth. The colored rectangles are where the names of my chickens will be. The roof is shingles.
A nicer picture of the body. The brown rectangle with the silver handle is a board which I can pull out and clean all the poop, food, and feathers. It makes it so much easier to clean. It is metal but will have wood shaving. The boards above are for design and ventilation. It will be covered in the inside with hardware cloth to keep predators and debris out.
Sorry the back is so ugly. It will 10x better in real life. The boxes are the nesting boxes with a door for each box for easy access to get the eggs. The window is for looks and will open.
The side with windows and so the chickens can look out.
Inside the coop. Those are the roosts. Try to ignore the hats and stuff. The nesting boxes can be seen also.
The nesting boxes with a metal rail so they can get to the top boxes.
A look from the outside with the removed wood.
Giant green window so the chickens can enjoy the outdoors while they wait to be let into the run. I'd love to have blinds or something so the rooster can't see what time it is so he doesn't crow. But, i'll do installation so neighbors can't hear him too well.
