Egg cells slant good but no signs of movement

No I was not weighing them but he was growing and bigger than the other two, one born shortly after him and the other about 4 days later.. And the first four that I bought are growing quickly and to the eye all look good..? .... I also realize they are prob to young to sex but think he was a male as he already had slot of barring on his wings...where the one closes to him in age does not...

RubyNala I meant to tell you how happy I am for you that your little ones are doing so well!

Oh thank you! I told my children the story about your poor little pea today. I want them to understand that it happens sometimes and be prepared just incase. It's hard to prepare for, even when you know it can happen. My little guys were crying so badly tonight that I have them in a blanket on my lap right now. They truely are babies. I'll count each day as a blessing!

And I thought I spoiled all my "critters'!
Love it!

Critters, how's the chicks doing?? How old are they now...around 3 weeks?? Are you keeping them in the house? My 3 turn 2 weeks tomorrow. They are doing good. I'm loving on them right now! They do not like being held during the day but at night they want snuggles and their head and neck rubbed while they sprawl out sleep on me. How long do you think I will be able to keep them inside? I just wanted to check in on you and see how your peachick adventure is going! :)

Got your note regarding the scales and appreciate it... one of them is just over 4 weeks and the other is about 3 1/2 weeks old... Time goes by very quickly... I have mine in my living room, 6 total, as I also have 2 Purple and 2 Cameo Peachicks that I bought and they are 5 weeks old and they all get along well together... Wish I knew what sex everyone was... Kinda think my Blues are the same sex and possibly female and maybe the purples and cameos are both paired off which would be nice as well... I guess how long u keep them inside would be up to u? And the temps u have where u live? I'd like to keep mine inside as long as possible because I enjoy watching them and even thou i have a pen ready for them so they can be around the big boys I think the longer their inside the more one on one attention they will get...like yours, I handle mine more in the evening and once they go out that will change... Glad you and yours are doing well and thanks for keeping in touch! Will talk soon as I plan on getting scales tomorrow if I can find some... So guessing the scales you bought were meant to weigh tobacco or something so maybe scales for food Would work then as well?...there are some 'smoke' shops in town as well so maybe I'll find something there or Wally World? Wish me luck and will chat again soon! Enjoy your youngins and evening! Critters/Raylene
