We just got our new flock of 8 chicks this morning. Everything seemed fine but this afternoon I noticed that one of my salmon faverolles had what looked like yellowish liquid on its back and the feathers around the eye. She's keeping one eye shut most of the time. We tried to clean it...
She hates me so I just now noticed, she used to have a nail there. must of gotten pecked off. She seemed to have a hard time roosting, will it grow back?
So, I don't know what's going on. I tried searching it in here and none of the images show the same thing.
He has no respiratory issues, 5 months old, eating and drinking fine, no one else in the flock has this including the other rooster. it hasn't gotten bigger from us noticing it a few days...
