Hello!
My girl Thyme has a hormone implant and will not lay eggs again (she has reproductive issues). I am not sure what to feed her and the flock (2 other Buff Orpingtons, all 18 months old).
Knowing all the calcium in layer feed would hurt her now, I've switched the flock to Nutrena 18%...
I started feeding Poultry Perfect by Countryside and my chickens are loving it! Their production has improved and the yolks have such a great color! I’m amazed the difference! Is anyone else feeding this???
Chick starter is getting hard to come by where I live and more expensive. We have a flock of many chicks, 11 keets, and 2 goslings. My question is has anyone on here successfully fed layer feed to chicks and/or keets and/or goslings with supplements? We have started fermenting are feed to help...

New to chickens! Just got a few pullets a couple nights ago and they appear healthy. I had a bag of Purina layer pellets from when our ducks were still with us and so they ate that for a day until I could get to our local Bomgaars for chick starter. Switched to the chick starter last night...
