Is This Normal Poop? Worms? Cecal?

Just wondering if this is normal poop or something to be concerned about. Why is there always white stuff on the poop? And usually its not reddish but this one is.

Two of my chickens died in a month span.

So we got our first 5 chickens from a neighbor who no longer could take care of them. The next year we added 8 more because we weren’t sure how old the first 5 were (6-7 years maybe older). Now two of the older one have died within a month. They did seem sick or weren’t showing any signs of...

    Is this blood or cecal?

Is this normal poop? For reference my chickens have been eating all sorts of things while they roam including elderberries. Is the red something to be concerned about?.

    Muscovy Laid Soft Egg

I bought 5 muscovies a few months ago and I believed I had 4 females and 1 male. 1 duck has a lot more red in his face, has larger feet, and does not trill so I assumed he was a male. They are all around 6 months old but today I found a soft/rubbery egg. I checked the camera expecting one of the...

Help, young duck unable to walk, seems to have something very wrong with him.

Unfortunately this is the only image I have as these are not my ducks, someone I know just knows I have ducks and wanted my input, but I haven’t seen a duck sit like this before. He’s only able to walk a couple steps before collapsing and can’t seem to stand at all from the video she sent me...

    Lazy chicken?

I’m concerned my chicken might have mareks disease. She can walk. But just prefers to lay on her side. But not in the way the chickens do when they sun themselves. She just prefers to lay down and eat her food etc. I’m not sure how she would have gotten in. She is in with a vaccinated hen and...

    Chick swinging head low

Hello guys, this is a couple week old chick (can't remember the exact age) that is just recently exhibiting these behaviors of head swinging and tucking. I wasn't home when this happened so I'm not sure when it started. The chick is pooping fine, showing interest in food and water and walking...

    Chicken has infected feet

My chicken was fine yesterday and I didn’t notice anything wrong but when I went to the coop today to let them free I noticed that one of my hens wasn’t moving. Then I saw that her feet had a big ball sticking out between her toes. It seems like an infection but I don’t know how to help her...

    Cecal or Disease?

Saw my Buff Orpington poop this today, I've seen it around the coop sometimes too but I'm not sure which chicken it’s usually from or if all are doing it sometimes. Usually I see my chickens poop out regular droppings and these ones aren't as common to find. I was wondering if this is just...

Is it okay to release these ducks?

So I found these call ducks when they were a few days old in a plastic bag near a road. I took them in and raised them in my house while they got attached to me. They aren’t afraid of humans and they will soon be able to fly. We sadly don’t have room for them anymore because we live in the city...

What on earth is this? Help!

I’m pretty sure it came from one of my drakes but not 100%. I just saw him shaking his beak back and forth like he was attempting to dislodge something or wasn’t keen on what he’d eaten. He’s vocalising and breathing normally but seems hesitant to eat. Would not eat millet and has had only...

    Sick birds?

Hi! I have.. sick(?) birds. We got our new poultry in march or February, and a quarter of what we got are all stunted and very skinny. Is there anything I can check to see if they’re sick or it’s the feed? We do give them new water every hour since it’s been in the 90s. Our birds have been dying...

Can anyone take in my two drakes?

We will be moving across country, from Missouri to California, if anyone can take them on route I will drop them off. Will also pay for food and other expenses necessary. Depending on if my situation changes, this will hopefully be a temporary home for my two boys. They are Bart(holomew) and...

    Feisty Rooster

I have a flock of ten and one is a rooster, at first he was really sweet to me and protected his flock. I’m not sure if he just hit “puberty” but he’s about 4 months old and is getting quite feisty with me. He still very protective of his flock but chases me everytime he sees me from across the...
