    Air Cell Development?!

I just wanted a quick check of my air cells. I was running about 55% humidity (I know it spiked to about 57% for a day or two). We are at about day 7. Are they looking to0 small? Should I drop to maybe 35%?

    Two air cells

I could really use some advice. I'm on day 25 of incubating call duck eggs. I candled one last time before lockdown and I saw several weird eggs. For example, this one has a normal looking air cell and then at the bottom there is a large empty space, almost like another air cell?! It looks like...

Is my ducklings external pip too small!?

Hi! It’s my first time hatching eggs and my first duckling has just pipped externally. I’m worried that the pip isn’t big/deep enough for it to breathe. Any advise on how it looks? It’s been almost 24 hours since it pipped externally. There’s been no movement or sound.

I went out to check on my mama hens this afternoon. I have two of them, one with 3 hatched chicks & one with 4 unhatched chicks. The hen that's supposed to be on a nest was out on the town with her friends. This isn't the first time she's left the kids home unattended. 😒 So my CPS (chick...

Can I hatch eggs that were bought at the farmer's market today?

To clarify, my daughter inlaw bought them with the intention to eat them, and gave me 3. They are very clean, so I assume they have been washed, and I believe that eggs sold at farmer's markets are required to be washed around my area (Tennessee). I do not know how long ago they were laid. So, I...

I began chipping away the shell and...
