    Young rooster

We bought four “hens”s this spring. Come to find out one is a rooster. We are not allowed to have roosters in the city limits and would love to find someone who needs a rooster. He is 4-5 months old, healthy, Columbian Wyandotte. We are located in the Denver metro are.

    Rooster spur help!!

My rooster broke his spur off recently and I didn't notice until he had already dirtied it up a bit!! He's not bleeding anymore but it seems like some dirt dried into his blood. What should I do? For now I'm going to give his feet a soak in warm water(I'm unsure if I should add Epsom salt since...

Do you think my barred rocks are roosters?

These are my barred rock chickens. They are about 13 weeks old. I’m beginning to think they are roosters now because of the shiny feathers and green ones starting on tails.

    Injured rooster toe

Hi! My rooster injured his toe about two weeks ago, not sure how he did it but I’m guessing it was hardware cloth that cut it. I’ve been wrapping it daily, rinsing with hydrogen peroxide, drying then spraying a healing aid for chickens on it. It now looks like this and I’m not sure if this is...
