    Mold in the Chicken Run

Today I saw 2 kinds of mold in my chicken run. We have had weeks of high humidity & little rain. Yesterday it finally rained. Then this morning= mold. I would love ideas on how to properly treat these areas & neutralize the mold. At present I am using vinegar & let that sit for 1 hour...

    Plastic Wrapping Runs

I've decided to wrap both of my runs in plastic this winter. Hopefully the birds will come out of the coop even in the cold. :) I'm curious to see other peoples methods of wrapping their runs. Post a picture of it too. :pop

    Sand in chicken run

Been having issues with a muddy run that I tend to dig over now and then. Was thinking about laying sand down but this raises a question about maintenance. Do you ever need to change the sand, or do you just rake it over now and then until it eventually works into the soil? Thanks
