    My 2 week old duckling ate a yellow jacket. I had them outside (supervised) for about 15 minutes while cleaning their brooder. Less than two minutes out there and she grabs a yellow jacket out of the air, shakes it around, and eats it. She seems totally fine...is this ok? Is there anything I...

    Yellow jacket nest in the coop

    Help! We have a yellow jacket nest in our coop. It is in one of the nesting boxes which is blocked off right now because our chickens aren't old enough to lay yet. The nest is about the size of an egg. How do we get rid of it without hurting the chickens?

    Yellow Jackets

    We have yellow jackets (IDed by my 11yo, I am mildly allergic and haven't been near yet) in the run. We did have a tarp on it for winter so the yellow jackets were happy and we didn't see them, but my 11yo took the tarp off today and noticed the nest. I don't want to spray poison, or burn them...
