Here is my coop that my DH made for me. It is 8x8, the run is just temporary until the ground thaws out this spring there will be a bigger run.

Hi Lilshadow - very nice coop - I like it. Looks cozy and predator proof. What sort of dog do you have? It looks like my dog from that angle - mine is a lab-sharpei cross.
hmmm...how is yours with the hens. I haven't gotten mine yet and I'm a little nervous.

Well my ladies finally recieved a real roof as the plastic over tar paper didnt last the winter. I went with the 3ft wide self sticking shingle roll. This is it baking in the sun today. I still need to trim the edges.
