"Oh, uh, hi," said Aiyana. "I assume you're the lead stallion?"
"Yep. You can call me Yuma, and back there is my mate and lead mare, Marie, and our filly Rose," the stallion said kindly.
She nodded. "Great. I'm Aiyana, and as you can probably guess I'm wishing to join."
"Well then, you may," Yuma replied. "I don't mind. Just, if you don't mind telling me, where did you used to live? I'm just a bit curious."
"I, um, used to be a part of the Traitor's Band. I was kidnapped with my mother when I was only a foal..."
Yuma perked his ears. "You don't say... The same exact thing happened to me..."
"Wow," said Aiyana with a smile. "Interesting. Well, it was nice talking to you. Thank you so much for letting me join your band."
"Yep, anytime." They exchanged a smile before separating. Yuma then nuzzled Marie, and began to graze.
