No, if fed like they should be Thoroughbreds will fill out nicely.

well the horse has 2 big round bale of hay with it, and a small lot with little grass, i think there is a water thing out there, but we only have drove past it, and there is shelter

i think it is a TB from looked, but i never have been able to get close to see if i am right or not

hmmm. Do u have a pic of the first one standing straight? I am trying to compare confirmation.

honestly, right now I like the first one's confirmation better. However, they are young.

Yeah, the second pics seems a little off to me, but I'm not even close to being any sort of expert. That is the whole problem, I will have a day to go and see what they are like.

Thoroughbreds are racehorses; the onlly breed used for flat racing as in the Kentucky derby, breeders cup, etc.
If any horse gets skinny enouh you can see all its bones. At that point it would probably die.

Well, horses aren't supposed to show all of their bones, at least, none that I have ever heard of.

They are MOST DEFINETELY not supposed to show all their bones. I can't even imagine how skinny that horse must be.

Thoroughbreds are hard keepers, keep that in mind. We have someone across the road with skinny horses, I can see their bones...it's really sad. They all look like Tb's though, living off pasture land. Tb's don't do well without food morning and evening, they can't just live off pasture like some other breeds.

im just going to go on a bit. so i took riding lessons on a horse for 2 years his name was cody, he was his owners first horse. his owner told me that she would only ever sell cody to me because she wouldnt trust her baby with anyone else, well i showed cody at my 4h fair and about 1 week after she text my mom saying shes selling cody to this guy 6 hrs away for $1500, and hes going to take him this weekend unless we give her $2000 for him. my mom who is scared of horses of course said no way. i cryed for days. well its been like 3 months and i want to take lessons again but my parents are soudenly againsted horses saying that lessons are pointless and something im not going to need in life even thoe i want to be horse vet and i said id pay for them my self. and im in volleyball and guitar lessons! HOW IS THAT SUPPOSED TO HELP MY FUTURE?!? well my parents are completly againsted horses now, so now no Cody, jumping, galloping, gaming and hanging out with my horse buds during the fair.
