Hello, my fellow equestrian freaks.


Anyone else deal with other 'riders' who aren't even that skilled but act like snobs?

I don't like talking to pro riders anymore than I enjoy talking to someone who's only gotten the chance to ride a poor little circle pony at the fair, it's just their attitude that bothers me.

I know! Its just stupid!Like this girl who is in my class says she knows everything about horses yet she has never ridden one!

When DM gets home, and we sort out stuff (I'm getting knee problems from running, and the OT of the family - DM - is doing research), I'm calling my instructor to set up my H/J lessons...

Ugh, Diva, I know how you feel... There's this one girl - tall, unattractively thin, big made-up eyes, who struts around in her ________ _____ Equestrian Team shirt like she's the best... Well, I've heard from several people that the only reason she does good in any events (Gymkhana and Showjumping) is because her horse is all speed, no control. The mare'll flat-out run the pole weaving, bending, or barrels course like her heels are on fire, but she has no way of controlling the mare! Ugh. I will NEVER be like that!
