Well, I have pretty strict ideas of modesty.

I may sound like an old frump, but in my opinion, skirts should be no shorter than to the knee, sleeves no farther up than about three inches from the shoulder, and neck lines no farther down than two fingers from the collar bone.

Your not the only one, Diva. I don't wear spaghetti straps in public and underwear shorts/skirts. Heck, I've seen a gal ride a horse bareback in her BRA. No, this was not a sports bra, it was a genuine bra.

I don't dress modest necessarily to win points with God, I dress modestly to respect God and others...and also to save boys the uncomfortable effort of trying to keep their eyes off a girl.

If I could, I would dress in full Habit. (A nuns habit) I just don't like the idea of men folk looking at me impure ways.

Thank goodness, so glad I ain't the only one. Sadly, not enough of my friends dress modestly. Only my good homeschooled ones do. All of my public schooled buddies dress...well, you know, "modern."

Yeah, I'm homeschooled and (I think) your age. I can really relate. I've never given much thought to my dress...only when I was on a soccer team with a bunch of jerks, I got self-concious when they started asking me about my clothes. It got so bad that I had to yell at one of them to 'shut up' and leave me alone.

Yeah, I'm homeschooled and (I think) your age. I can really relate. Ah, it's fine. That was a couple years ago and it doesn't bother me.

You can make modest things look really good, and when you do they're often cuter than the non-modest outfits.

Personally, I rarely wear skirts or shorts because I don't want to look trashy. I only will for special occasions, Halloween, or when it's really hot out.

As for the cleavage issue, same thing goes for the trashy thing. I don't want to flash people and I don't want people staring down my shirt.

For me it's not even religious.

It's just me being a poop.

I could never go out there in only a bra. I would probably scare away the horses...

Only problem is, I'm not a Muslim or religious so it wouldn't work.
