It was! Peter and his dad came over to look at a truck we have for sale today and I was riding Dezi around bareback, and for the first time in a really long time, I actually enjoyed riding him.

Good for you! Im glad he is being better!
I know it sounds backwards, but I feel safer and more secure bareback than with a saddle on.
Now, for most horses, I'm not a bareback person, don't even wanna try, but Dezi is different somehow.

Dosent sounds backwards at all when I have the chance to ride buttons (my 'lease' mare, not really mine but I call her mine lol!) I always ride bareback!

Well I meant because you would think somebody would feel safer with a saddle that keeps them from falling off, rather than with nothing to keep you from just sliding right over the side.
Balancing on him was WAY easier than I thought it would be, I mean, I just picked up on it right away and, amazingly, I haven't fallen off yet!

Yep, it's really easy!
Apparently so. I don't know if I'll ever put a saddle on him again. I wonder if they would let me do the Christmas parade bareback?
