Mostly western; but that's because I lose track of my english saddle all the time.![]()
what do you think?
sorry, just really sad, and sorta angry.
well today we ask abotu buying diamond, and the owner said no, i understand her view points, but she kept on dropping hints for months about buying her
MH, I'm so sorry.I know how it feels, believe it or not. 2 years ago, the people I lease from rescued a gelding named Butter, and he was trained well, etc, and she said I could have him once they determined he was okay with a couple of vet checks...! I was SO thrilled. My parents even okayed it. But, it turned out poor Butter had a nerve condition that caused him so much pain that he couldn't be ridden unless they cut his nerves every once in a while. They said they didn't want to do that, obviously, and now Butter's retired at a farm in MN. I was totally devastated, even though that was best for him.
That disappointment totally stinks. D: But, who knows, you may be able to change this lady's point of view. Maybe ask your instructor if you can volunteer and help her with her horses. I did that for 2 years, and it taught me a ton. I really would love to do it again! It'll give you experience and keep you around the horses. Keep up your riding, too, not that that's an issue! I know that even if Diamond doesn't work out, another horse and another opportunity will come around.![]()
