That is the equine herpes virus. Rhinovirus, VERY nasty thing! Don't want to dabble with it. They start with a runny nose.

Oh! Yes, I remember now. Now what was it I was talking about that had to do with that? Hmm...

I rode at 4-H yesterday, it was amazing!!! We were out at the fairgrounds down in the rodeo arena, and behind it there's an old I think baseball court. It's full of grass now but I took Haley in there and let her eat. I ended up going probably about a mile back behind the rodeo arena. I never knew all that was there, it was wayy kool.

It was getting dark though, and I had more or less disappeared so I had to go back.

Haley is buddy sour with my colt Duce, but once she gets away from him and gets relaxed, she doesn't wanna turn back, it's awesome. She bucks, but she hasn't done it in several days, a very good sign. I just have to redirect her attention and make it uncomfortable to not do what I ask of her. Now, if I can just remember that.

I actually had to start riding with a short whip, but last night I kept on forgetting it was there and dropping it. So I just quit using it and I didn't need it at all. I've started taking her for walks every day possible down the road. So here's my house, down the road to the right is 3/4 a mile to the highway. Down the road to the left I haven't gone past bridge that I think is a half a mile or so, past that you keep going out into the middle of nowhere until you either get lost or find your way to the highway. When my dad gets home (hopefully soon), we may go for a 10-mile walk down the road(there are two roads, the bridge, and then beside it is another road that splits off to..well, I'm not sure where it goes

. Down the road to the, well, down, I mean literally straight down from my house, it's 7, 8 miles to the highway, with about a bazillion trails off the road that are perfect for me and Haley!!

Just can't ride on em by myself so I either have to drag somebody out there with me or just not tell my mom.

Haley listens to me for total guidance when we are on a trail or walking out in the middle of nowhere in somebody's pasture or down some barely there path, she doesn't like the rodeo arena and doesn't listen to me all the time, and I have to PLEAD with my parents to let me out of there!! :[] Anyways, back to the subject.

I love my house!! Perfect place to build my relationship with my Haley girl! *squee*

I found friends near me!! Got to go riding Wednesday, AND swim in the pool! And get a sunburn...-__- Very noticeable sunburn and on my face too, grah...-__- I have freckles on my nose...I have NEVER had freckles on my nose and it's only May!?!

I am going to die by the time July gets here.

Has anyone else had a 90+ degree week?

Not yet! Tomorrow is supposed to be ninety degrees and humid.

Luckily, I'm going to Branson to stay the night at a resort their, and my family and I will be swimming in their water park/pool for the most part of Saturday (It's a very small water park.
