I started a petition against homework, but all that got me was detention.

Wow, you seriously did that?! guts... the only thing I've ever got detention for before was forgetting to get my school planner signed, but there were like nine of us who forgot so we spent the entire detention talking and having fun.

Yes, me and someone who I forgot. Just about everyone here always gets detention.

Aw, that sucks, is your school one of those really strict ones? Even if we get detention here, it's mostly tidying out the storage cupboards at lunch time (which is fun if there's more than one of you) and some other types of manual labour.
