FELTA! *Is agreeing with Felta and thinking that cotton and wool are better*

What if you'd said that out loud? That would be strange...

Mm, red Betta splendis are awesome.

DUCK! *Is thinking that all such materials are useless unless you like to knit*

Oh, I don't say that sort of thing out loud unless EVERYONE is out of earshot.

Oh, there are other colours? I couldn't tell if it was male or female. It had stripes. blue ones.

FELTA! *Does not enjoy having her fingers stabbed by knitting needles*

Wise choice, my friend, wise choice.

I'd say it was a common male, though in all the males I've had I haven't had many that were striped.

DUCK! *knitted a mini scarf when she was ten, and not much else*

It was very small. Its bowl was tiny and full of grass. It mostly stayed close to the edges and didn't swim through the grass all that much - probably a wise thing, its tail strings would get all tangled.

FELTA! *Has made pretty much nothing except a hat for her gerbil*

Juvenile, probably.

I AGREE! *Actually has two gerbils, not including the one that has a BYC account*

So . . .

ME TOO! *has never owned a gerbil in her life. is wondering whether gerbil is pronounced 'gerbil' or 'jerbil'.*

Oh good, the quote boxes have disappeared!

OH GREAT, WE KNOW HOW TO COUNT!!!
big_smile.png
*Thinks this is very weird as has spent life pronouncing it 'gerbil'*

Yes, I agree. Quote boxes that are too long are woe for the extremely slow-loading computer.

WE DO? *Thinks that it doesn't matter, as many people make the same mistake*

Such as yours and mine.

I THINK WE DO. OUR TEACHERS WOULD BE PROUD. *thinks it sounds better as 'gerbil' but will practise saying 'jerbil' in front of the mirror*

Indeed!
