Better then glass in some ways worse then others, contacts you have to worry more about eye infections (always wash your hands before messing with them), there is no edges to your sight, need to always have a case on hand and solution, you have to be able to put your fingers in your eyes, with most you can not sleep with them in, if in to long your eyes get dry, and .... I'll probably think of more soon.

That's all right, I carry a number of things everywhere with me anyway, so I'll be able to fit those in!
Fingers in eyes... done before, I can't imagine I wouldn't get used to it after a while.
I like contacts much better than glasses, because I have lots of little siblings who would grab my glasses. But contacts, as Cat mentioned, are much more high-matinence than glasses are. You have to inspect each new lense to check for tears, clean 'em every night, and if you don't take them out often ehough, you'll end up like me.
This is a bit late, but here's a poem I wrote for you all.
One year, does't it seem strange? But in one year, everything can change.
I was the 'weirdo', folks turned away from me, then I found you all, and began to see
that friends are not faces or names, not only found in schools, or on the street playing games.
From CA to NY, there arepeople just like me,
two of you call yourself my family,
no longer am I the dork.
I may never see your face,
I may never hear your voice,
but that does't matter,
the same dreams we can chase,
and help each other make the right choice.
Not my best work, but you get what I mean. I just wanted to thank each one of you for making this year awesome
