Poor thing.

but she is still my dear old grumpy faced Feathers so perhaps I can forgive her for not attacking the others. It's not necessarily a bad thing.

But yeah, since she started molting, she hasn't moved except maybe her head to look at a different bush for a change of scenery.

If she isn't feeling energetic enough to beat anyone up, it might be good to be worried. I had a hen who faded away once, she got weaker and quieter until one day she was dead.

Oh no! The poor thing!

I shall have to keep a close eye on Feathers. Yes, she stopped laying after only two years on eggs - we thought that was a big strange. Any ever since she started losing feathers she hasn't eaten a grain of food

Like I said, it's all extras. Last semester I took Drama, Human Video, and Creative Writing. It's not like the classes are math and geography.

*Starts plotting*

Ahh, those kinda of extras. Well, yes, I guess they would be fun!
big_smile.png
Creative writing might be fun. I'd like to take a class in movie writing. My movies are getting better, maybe one day I could sell them.

*hires a lawyer*

Human Video seriously sucked, actually. We ended up doing some song I hated, (On our side, by Chris Tomlin) and the teacher was late every day because of health problems, and I hated the routine.

I loved it last time I did it, but that was with a different teacher.

You should try to get her to eat something, and check for mites. Oh, and check to see if her crop is unnaturally large, too.

HUman Video... sounds like it could be interesting, but that sucks about the teacher

Better luck next time! What do you do in that course?

Mites? Hmm... would that explain the tatty feathers? And nope, she won't eat, usually she's all over us when we come with the feed but she won't even move now.

Oh, and sorry for being so ignorant, but what's a crop?

Mites could definitely explain why her feathers are such a mess.

The crop is an off center lump on the bird's chest. You can feel it by running your hand over their chests after they've just eaten or if they have impacted crop.

Human Video is a bit like a cross between dancing and acting. Usually you do a Christian praise song. You listen to the song, and put together actions to go with the words. Here's some videos:

I got to do one like this with my firat teachre, and it was EPIC.

Yeah, our other three hens have smooth, silky feathers but hers are all rough and some are ripped.

Oh, that thing is the crop? Feathers has always had a huge crop. She's usually the greediest living thing on the planet.

That sounds great. I am not an acting person (hence why I picked Art for my elective instead of Drama) but I did the Yea 8/9 musical last year, which was absolutely EPIC too. I loved it! It wasn't something I'd usually do at all.
