Yesterday we had this maths competition - in previous years I've never been able to finish more than half of the questions, they're really hard... but this time I got through all 15!
I have this teacher, right? And he used to be a pilot, if I can work up enough courage I ask him things about aviation. It's pretty cool.

this isn't a real canal, just a small stream that i use whenever the rain flows down and the chickens spend all day on the roosts, until they can work up the courage to fly out to free-range.

Our chickens love the rain, the little sods. They stand outside all day in the pouring thunderstorm and look innocent as their feathers hangs off them in clumps.

Yay!! I've heard the prizes if you do well go up to $300, but of course I'm not going to do that well. I'm hoping for maybe $50... last year I did really badly and I got $25, so I'm hoping I get a bit more!
